Each year First Church conducts an annual stewardship campaign to raise pledges for the annual budget for the coming year.  The theme of our campaign for the 2011 budget is "Giving Ourselves."  Campaign pledges are your best estimate of your level of giving for the coming year.  It is important that we receive your estimate so we can plan our budget in advance.  We thank you for your faithfulness in giving, and we pledge to be good stewards of the resources God has blessed us with.

This year the campaign had a little different flavor as we asked participants if they would like to make an "Activity Pledge" as well as the usual "Financial Pledge."  The activity pledge is a commitment in the areas of devotion or service.  Some pledged to read the Bible more in 2011, or pray daily, or participate in a group study.  Some pledged to work in the church kitchen for the Wednesday evening suppers, or lead a cell group, or volunteer for the food pantry, or invite a friend to church.  Our hope is that many will give of themselves as well as their finances, so that we can truly become "Living Sacrifices" for God.
