Jana is our church treasurer
and coordinates our spiritual formation program and college ministry. She
also coordinates the small group ministry along with the Associate Pastor.
Jana has spent the majority of her career in the
non-profit world. Serving the YMCA of the Rockies in the late 1970's & early
1980's in a variety of positions including college staff coordinator and
business manager of the Estes Park operation. In the mid- 1980's her career
moved to the corporate world at Talbots, an East coast retailer, where she
served as purchasing manager. Upon moving to Van Wert in 1987, she assumed the
position of Executive Director of the YWCA.
Jana began her Christian walk as a young child under
the influence of her Aunt Leo, her Dad's sister. Aunt Leo introduced her to the
Bible stories and made sure her little niece understood how much Jesus loved
her. She accepted Christ with Aunt Leo kneeling beside her. From that beginning,
Jana's spiritual life has been one of seeking and questioning and in recent
years, obeying the truths she has known most of her life. |
