BUILDING. That's the focus of the annual Juarez mission trip. On the outside, we help working poor families and the Methodist Church of Mexico build decent housing. But, that is only the beginning, and not the most important building we do in Juarez. On the inside, and more importantly, the trip is about building relationships. Firstly, we build on our relationship with God through the project. Some participants report that they have never in their lives felt closer to God than while in Juarez. Secondly, we build relationships on the team. There is a bond of common experience that you won't find elsewhere. Finally, we build relationships with the people we work with in Mexico. God is doing a great work in their lives, and in ours. These photos show not only the construction work that was done, but a little of the relationship building that was accomplished in Juarez.
