Welcome to our online prayer room.  Prayer is one of the pillars of First Church.  Here  we will publish our prayer list, help you with prayer resources, and give you an opportunity to submit prayer requests online.  Check back frequently for updates.

If you would like to submit a prayer request to First Church you can email the church office at firstchurch@wcoil.com.  The request will be forwarded to our prayer team and our pastors and staff.

The Upper Room Living Prayer Center is a 24 hour a day, 7 day a week resource where you can call at any time with your prayer requests.  When you call 1-800-251-2468 you will not get an answering machine, but will talk to a real live person who will pray with you.  Your request will also be forwarded to over 300 prayer groups who will pray over your request for a month.  You can also submit prayer requests to the Living Prayer Center online at http://www.upperroom.org/prayer_center/

There is an excellent prayer site on the web called The Prayer Guide.  It answers common questions on prayer and intercession.  You will find it at this address. 

This address takes you to the Upper Room Daily Devotional site.  It is a nice guide to daily prayer and devotions.

Our long term prayer list is updated monthly in the church newsletter.  You can access the newsletter by clicking on the newsletter button at the top of our home page.  We will also try to update it more frequently below.                                          updated 5-1-08
