Each year First Church conducts an annual stewardship campaign to raise pledges for the annual budget for the coming year.  The theme of our campaign for the 2010 budget is "Faith In Action."  Campaign pledges are your best estimate of your level of giving for the coming year.  It is important that we receive your estimate so we can plan our budget in advance.  We thank you for your faithfulness in giving, and we pledge to be good stewards of the resources God has blessed us with.

     Stewardship is a biblical word.  The bible talks about the responsibility of a steward in many places.  In the beginning God made man a steward when he gave Adam dominion over the earth.  Jesus often spoke of the steward in his parables.  The scriptures make it clear that all that we have comes from God.  Many of us here at First Church have been richly blessed.  It is also clear that God has expectations of us when it comes to our care and use of the gifts he has given us.
