Check us out on television!  Putting Christ First is the weekly television program of First United Methodist Church.  Putting Christ First airs on Sunday evenings at 6:00 and Thursday afternoon at 1:30 on Van Wert Time Warner Cable Channel 6.  The show features the adult Sunday School class taught by Dr. Robert Scheidt, followed by our 10:45 traditional worship service during the school year. 

     Some folks watch because, for one reason or another, they can't get to worship in person.  Others watch because they are interested in finding a church home.  Some like the music or preaching or teaching at first church.  If you're interested in a great Biblical learning opportunity, an uplifting and challenging worship experience, or just finding out more about First Church, tune in to Putting Christ First on Channel 6 Sunday evenings and Thursday mornings.
