January Prayer for our Children

Remember to continue to lift the child or youth that you selected to pray for   This year's theme is UNO, and we will end the year with an UNO tournament.  

The prayer for January is 

Almighty God, as we begin a new year please help (name) find rejuvenation. The doldrums of winter can bring sadness and stuffiness. Give (name) a spirit of excitement that will lift up those around them in school and at home. Allow (name’s) light to shine brightly to those around them. In your steadfast name I pray, Amen.  

“Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men will stumble and fall, but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:30-31
