      A summer kids’ event called What a Mess! VBS will be hosted at First United Methodist Church from June 2nd to June 5th. At What a Mess! VBS kids will learn that Jesus loves messy people! Kids will explore how the mess started, how messy they can be, and how Jesus responds to our messiest moments. Kids will participate in making messy masterpieces, experience exploding science, participate in goofy games and step into the messy lives of biblical matriarchs. Kids will wipe away the mess and see God is all around them through daily God Sightings. Each day will begin and end with music that will make them move and memory verses that will help the kids always know that God makes messy things beautiful!   Kids at What a Mess! VBS will have an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children here in Van Wert county by participating in a coin drive all week that will benefit the YWCA of Van Wert.   

What a Mess! VBS is for kids from 4yr. to 5th grade and will run from 8:30am to 11:30am each day.
